Because of the digital age, he can know right at the wedding site or on the beach if he has captured a difficult shot. He also loves the fact that he can “edit” his settings right on location in order to capture the best possible images.

John shoots a lot of candid shots because he loves to catch our couples in those warm unguarded moments against the incredible Maui landscape. But more often than not, he poses our couples because that will give you the best possible images. Being a stickler for details, he notices all of those little things (like a few stray hairs or a lei that’s out of place) so that you can look your best. We have found that a good pose can make you look more natural and spontaneous then if you are shot without posing.

He is especially good at establishing a positive relationship with each couple, helping them relax and be themselves. He is also quick to shoot pictures whenever they capture the essence of your relationship.
